As the pup gets older split the food into two meals (at about 4 to 6 months of age) and by one year of age to one meal. They should also be fasted one meal a week once they are at least 4 months old. This means that your pit bull should fast one full day a week. Raw foods contain rich sources of healthy nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, fatty acids, enzymes, anti-oxidants, and vitamins. Cooking causes changes to nearly all of these nutrients. In the wild, Poodle feed exclusively on raw foods and their digestive system is designed to process raw foods.
